Temporary Change Freeze During Connectivity Services Transition

Jun 4, 2026

The transition of the connectivity services at the Chemelot site has now entered its next phase. Behind the scenes, extensive work is underway to ensure a smooth and well-managed handover of services. Several parts of the environment have already been successfully transferred, and we are now preparing for the next stage leading up to 1 July.

To maintain full focus on this transition, a temporary change freeze will be in effect.

Temporary Change Freeze Until 30 June

Until 30 June 2026, no standard changes to existing connectivity services will be taken into consideration.

Over the coming weeks, our priority is to ensure a stable and controlled transfer of services. Due to the accelerated timeline and the activities associated with the transition, changes will be limited to those that are directly related to the transition programme.

Continue Submitting Change Requests

We kindly ask you to continue submitting change requests via: pmo.transit@southernhill.nl

All requests will be logged, reviewed and prioritised. From 1 July onwards, submitted requests will be addressed in phases based on their priority and impact.

Requests that require immediate attention remain fully open for discussion. Together with the relevant parties, we will assess what actions are required and, where necessary, give these requests priority.

Connectivity-related incidents can be reported via +31 (0)88 050 1601.

Thank You for Your Understanding

We understand that this temporary measure may affect planned changes within your organisation. At the same time, it allows us to complete the service handover carefully while minimising potential risks.

If you have any questions or would like to submit a change request, please contact us via pmo.transit@southernhill.nl.

Kind regards,

Team SouthernHill
